"Getting to the Church on Time" is written by Erin Nicholas, and it is a novella in her Sapphire Fall series. It features several of our favorite characters from Sapphire Falls!
It's time for a wedding! Problem is, mother nature doesn't want to cooperate! There's a snow storm! Will Levi and Kate's wedding stay on schedule? What crazy competition have the Bennett brothers and their girlfriends gotten themselves into? Who is going to win?
I absolutely loved "Getting to the Church on Time"! I am extremely picky when it comes to novellas due to the shortness of the story, but Erin nailed this one out of the ballpark! I can honestly say this is my favorite novella that I've ever read! It made me smile and laugh the whole time! Wonderful job by Erin! This is a must read!
Love, love love, all around. What a fabulous novella. Kate will do anything to get to Levi on their anniversary day now wedding day. Levi will do anything to get to Kate for their anniversary day now wedding day. But she's stuck in a snow storm in Denver and he made it back to Sapphire Falls before the storm got worse. Thus, there is an all planned wedding up for grabs in 24 hours, and all 3 Bennett brothers want it. Levi sets up a challenge that all the Bennett boys and their ladies are to participate in to see who wins the coveted spot of a needed bride and groom. You will smile through this whole read.
This is another wonderful visit to Sapphire Falls! I love this series so much! While the other books in this series can pretty much be read as standalones this one really cannot. What a wonderful Christmas gift to the readers. I loved getting to catch up with all the couples and I loved the highjinks (shenanigans?) that go on in this book. I love Levi and Kate, trying to get together, trying to make the best of a less than ideal situation, knowing they love each other even when things aren’t going as planned. Then there’s the Bennett brothers and the very fun contest Levi devises for them and their fiancees….too much fun! If you have enjoyed the Sapphire Falls books then I absolutely recommend you read this one (there’s even hints about who in town may be getting stories next) if you haven’t read the earlier books yet (why not, they’re awesome) then this is probably not the book for you you should go back and read those first.
What an amazing conclusion to Levi and Kate's love story! Erin Nicholas has once again taken me to Sapphire Falls - my second home - and made me part of a wonderful experience seeing not only Levi and Kate get married but giving me some unexpected surprises as well. AND in a way that only Erin Nicholas could. I absolutely love her writing and especially her humor. I love getting ahold of an Erin Nicholas story. I always feel like it was written just for me. There is a comfort and consistency that I find enchanting.
I met Levi and Kate last Christmas in Getting In the Spirit and continued their journey with Getting In the Mood. The character growth of both the millionaire hero and the hard working heroine is wonderful. What I especially love about this particular story is seeing all my favorite folks from Sapphire Falls and catching up with them and seeing the surprises that were in store for them.
I highly recommend reading the entire Sapphire Falls series and definitely read this after you read the two previous novellas for Levi and Kate.
Okay, can I just say LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT over and over? Because I had a smile on my face the entire time I was reading GETTING TO THE CHURCH ON TIME unless of course I was laughing out loud. Erin Nicholas has written a delightful gift to her Sapphire Falls series fans just in time for the Christmas season. This fun novella includes all the couples I have come to love and is told in a span of a little more than 24 hours, the anniversary of the day Levi and Kate met. The day they planned to be married in full-on Sapphire Falls style. If you haven't read the previous books in the series you really should get right on that, but you should also know GTTCOT is full of spoilers and not the book to start the series with. It just can't be fully appreciated without at least the backstory of Levi and Kate. For those of us who are fans, well it's simply wonderful to head back to our favorite perfect little town. I for one enjoyed every moment. Thanks Erin Nicholas!! 5 stars
